Available in both roll and lever throttle, the stall type motor allows operators to roll to feel or sight, instead of a set torque value.

“Right-angle rolling motors are preferred for boiler applications because they can fit more easily into tighter spaces,” said Sam Deisher, Application Specialist, Elliott Tool Technologies. “After talking with customers, we’ve found that a lot of jobs don’t require torque control. In most cases, operators only need to roll to a specific size or feel. Using a stall type motor eliminates the extra complexity of torque control, while also lowering weight and cost.”
